Athens Greece 2-Day Tours
Tour operators in Athens offer sightseeing tours with varying destination and time formats. Athens 2 days tours are great for you if you wish to really soak in the atmosphere of a popular destination like Delphi or Meteora. For history buffs and those enamored by Classical Greece, a two-day tour is a minimum for visiting a place like Delphi. From the temple of Apollo to the ancient ruins that litter the site, Delphi has enough to offer to visitors who take Athens 2 days tours to the site. A two-day tour to Meteora allows you to not only visit the cliff-top monasteries of Meteora but also enjoy the scenic beauty of Thessaly and Kalambaka en-route.
Mykonos and Santorini are other tourist destinations for which Athens-based tour operators offer two-day tours.
Since popular Athens 2 days tours can sell out in advance, you should book your tickets early for the tour of your choice. You could also be eligible for a discount if you book early. Research to learn about the experience of the tour guides and the cancellation and refund policies of the tour operator. You can research online for tours that offer the most satisfying experiences and also the best value for your money. Another consideration in an Athens 2 days tour should be the time spent traveling to and from the tourist site.
Since almost all Athens 2 days tours are to sites outside the city of Athens you should plan your travel itinerary such that you can enjoy not only these sites but also attractions within the city of Athens.
