Kolonaki is the hippest part of Athens. It lies on the southwestern slope of the Lycabettus Hill. Kolonaki, which translates into “Little Column”, is a residential neighborhood with many upscale shopping centers, boutiques, and trendy restaurants. Today the little column is located in the main Kolonaki Square. The square is an ideal starting point to begin your discovery of this trendy neighborhood. Kolonaki is also the starting point for the funicular up Lycabettus Hill.
