Explore: Greek Island of Santorini “Vineyards & Beaches”

One of the must see destinations on your list should be Santorini. This quaint, romantic destination is part of the lovely Greek Islands. Known for its dramatic sunsets many couples choose Santorini for a unforgettable honeymoon vacation.
You can get to Santorini by plane or ferry, but if you don’t reserve your flights ahead of time you may have no choice but to take the ferry. Once on Santorini you can actually get around the island without renting a car. Many visitors choose to walk or rent bicycles to explore this magnificent destination.
The beaches in Santorini are breathtaking. You can find many smaller secluded beach areas when you are out exploring the island. If wine is your passion then you are in luck. There are over 6 wineries on the island. Why not take home a bottle of local wine (or two) as a souvenir of your trip to Santorini?
A Greek Island cruise could be just the thing you are looking for. Imagine taking a luxury cruise ship and enjoying all the onboard amenities while visiting all of the Greek Islands. Shore excursions can be planned at each port of call. It is a great way to see as much as you can in one trip.
March through November is the prime tourist season for Santorini. If you visit in an off peak month you might fight that many of the hotels and restaurants are closed until the tourist season begins. Make sure you plan ahead if visiting Santorini since it is a small island and the hotels tend to sell out quickly. Booking ahead of time will also ensure you have space on all the inter island flights at the times you prefer. Although you might like taking the ferry at least once while visiting the Greek Islands.

Verno, it is with great pleasure that I realize my opinions will always be expressed on this site without even having to post at all. If only we had more true capitalist-minded folks in this “great” state of New York, so many people would not continue to leave the state each year in search of residence in a state whose leadership posesses some common sense.

I love when you talk about this type of stuff in your posts. Perhaps could you continue to do this?
